This recording from the Heliple 2 project webinar series describes the different approaches to configuration management used by OSLC and STEP, and the implications for each approach when linking to resources of the other. There will be a short demonstration of an application using the STEP approach to configuration management with OSLC links.

Heliple 2 an innovative project aimed at revolutionizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for CyberPhysical Systems. Focusing on cost-effectiveness, it aims to demonstrate the feasibility of integrating independent development environments into a cohesive PLM capability through the federation. The project leverages the OSLC standard for efficient integration, offering a new pattern that benefits both large organizations and niche suppliers. Running from January 2023 over 18 months, Heliple-2 involves leading partners like Eurostep, SAAB, KTH, IBM, LynxWork, and Volvo, and is backed by Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation agency.
