We are excited to announce that Sylvain Marie, Director AEC&Plant industry vertical at Eurostep, will be presenting at the STARS Tutorial on Smart Asset Management/Maintenance of the future & Railways Digital Twin on June 30, 2023. This event promises to provide invaluable insights into the future of railway system technology, focusing on smart asset management, maintenance, and digital twins.
Sylvain brings a wealth of knowledge from his extensive experience in the AEC and BIM domains. He came to Eurostep from a position as Scientific and Technical Coordinator at the RAILENIUM R&D Center in France, where he played a crucial role in the development and standardization of the forthcoming IFC version. His work has largely centred around AEC linear infrastructures such as railroads, roads, bridges, and tunnels. Sylvain has also been heavily engaged with BuildingSMART France and BuildingSMART International for many years.
The STARS tutorial will feature discussions on Technological Innovation Trends from the Technology Innovation Analysis provided by RAILENIUM. The focus will be on the implementation of predictive maintenance for Railways and the innovative solutions proposed by Network Rail in the Shift2Rail’s project IN2STEMPO. Attendees will also learn about the application of digital twins and artificial intelligence in the railway sector, which is a hot topic these days.
The STARS project, which organizes the webinar, aims to support international cooperation between technology-savvy SMEs/start-ups and traditional SMEs. The project plays an essential role in improving the adaptability of traditional SMEs from the rail and mobility sector in the wake of the economic changes caused by the Corona crisis.
We invite you to join Sylvain for this enlightening event, which will be recorded and published on the STARS website.
